When it comes to decorating for the holidays, for me atleast, the more simple the better. I decorate with a very neutral color palette.

Day Off: What I Wore // Cozy

I am throughly enjoying my day off. Thursday is my 'sanity' day of the week. With work and school things can get a little crazy. I have one day of the week devoted to myself and getting things done or just relaxing. Oddly enough, it takes a lot of work during the rest of the week to make sure I have a day to do nothing - but I make it work.

I love this maxi skirt, it's so unbelievably comfortable and I love the way it fits. In cold weather, I usually wear knee socks underneath and my trusty brown boots. No, I'm not left-handed... I'm just a weirdo that wears her watch on her right wrist.

Back from my blogging hiatus. I needed a break. I know, too long of a break - I apologize. I had a lot going on. I needed to get away for a while. Growing up and being an adult can take the fun out of life, but I won't let it. It's good to be back :)

This summer has really flown by extra quickly. I have so many random photos to post. Don't really know where to start. I've been enjoying my Summer tremendously. Met some new friends, had lots of new experiences, figured out major life dilemmas, learned to let go, sang my heart out and most importantly spent plenty of time in the sun. XO

Day at the Beach

Minnie absolutely loves going to the beach. All I have to do is say, "Wanna go to the beach?!" and she goes crazy. I will admit, living so close to it makes me so grateful to live in such a beautiful part of the world. However, I do wish Summer actually began when it's supposed to. I love Seattle, but I don't see myself living here for the rest of my life. I really miss the East Coast and see myself moving back... soon. I'm really starting to notice how much I really don't belong over here. When I first meet someone they always give me this confused look and ask, "Where are you from?". I have nicknames like, "East Coast", "Carrie Bradshaw"(apparently I talk like her?) yeah... I don't think I sound that different but I do and people are constantly pointing it out. I find it all really funny. I miss Pennsylvania and my family, the food... good lord I miss the food so much. I get these cravings for the most ridiculous things. Yeah, hopefully within the next couple years, I'll be back on the East Coast.
