{Week 11 of 53} In Like a Lion Out Like a Lamb. Spring always inspires me and breaks me from my Winter rut. I've put away all my winter coats and hung up all my Spring and Summer dresses. Slowly but surely, Seattle is getting there... we're seeing more and more sun each day and the grey clouds every once in a while, open up between constant rain showers.

{Week 10 of 53} Spring started showing more & more of itself. My friend John was in town for a few days for Google business. We had fun exploring the city. It's always nice having friends visit. I love playing tour guide.

Today would have been my mother's 53rd birthday. Life can be challenging for a young woman without her mother. I am learning that as I get older. For example, future events like getting married, having children will be difficult...I'm sure. My mother had a very hard life, in more ways than I can even comprehend, but she cherished every little thing that brought her joy. Even on her worst days, she never complained. She taught me love and above all else, humility. I only hope to one day be half the woman she was. Happy Birthday, Mum.

{Week 9 of 53} After the snow melted, it seemed that Spring just magically appeared. Flowers started to bud, trees began to bloom and the air became a little warmer. Spring is my absolute favorite. I am loving the longer days, warmer air and the smell of flowers blooming.

{Week 8 of 53} I really enjoyed those couple of days of that beautiful white, fluffy snow. It was the prettiest snow I've ever seen. It just stuck to everything and made everything glitter.
